Let's Pick a Logo!

Hello!

We need logo feedback by this weekend.

Rachel and Lee have been getting a wide range of feedback about the logos and they need your help. Please post a comment to this blog entry giving your feedback, and any major reactions you might have to any of the other logos. Helpful feedback would be feelings the images evoke, why your attracted or detracted from an image, what do you think of the font style.

You can post comments by clicking the (# comments) just below this blog entry. If you are having trouble leaving comments please call or e-mail me. Thanks!

Definitely the first one with the symbol on the left, and the words on the right. It is classy, calming, and professional, it inspires a feeling of balance.

The others seem to be trying too hard, too complex. These bring a bit of doubt to me.

i am most attracted to the second logo.. the flow is nice
the font is not my favorite it looks a little bland or square.

i am more attracted to the other fonts.. the first one is less formal and
more modern.

the first logo seems too small.. although it does have nice movement

i love the green and yellow colors in the last logo but it is too choppy
with the hole in the top part of it..

so ultimately my vote is for the second logo for its elemental boldness, i
can see the sun and air and ocean and earth qualities.. so it is
encompassing.

I'm drawn to the second and third one...the second one, is circular and has a nice balance of working with such a long title, one of the design challenges that the center faces. I also am drawn to the more modern, professional one, #3. It is more edgy, harder edges, but has a distinct place and statement. It's bold however, it could possibly be too corporate or techie. If the last one is winning the vote, I definitely feel strongly about keeping the spheres with a lens flare as opposed to the artistic brush strokes that seem a little messy and confusing.

From Sarita after seeing the final logo...

hhmmm.
i do like the last one.. it is minimal yet appealing.
i like the font that has no capitals.
although the second one is still so bold and eye catching to me.
the second and the last are my vote.

From Shosh:

I like the last one the best (#5). It's just fine, as is, but if I were to modify it a bit, I'd do the following...Colorwise, I'd like to see it in gold and green (like the colors used in the swiss cheese-y looking logo right above it), rather than in orange and blue. Also, it would be cool to see thicker and more pronounced brushstrokes in the lines of the logo itself - to make it look more like Chinese calligraphy. Finally, along those same lines, it would be neat if the font had a bit of an Asian flair to it as well. Oh yeah, and it would be cool if there were waves inside the blue (green) circle, and flames inside the orange (gold) one :) .

I like the second one from the top!!!
With the logo on the right side.
Feels balanced.
Thanks for asking.

Ella says she likes the very top one, that seems to have the balanced lines of the Center, and then having the depth within the circle is more interesting.

As to logo, I like the design/shape of it, as it’s got a lot of elements/meaning/associations… if colors are still in flux, you might play with the palette a bit – it might be just me, but I don’t get such a healing vibe from the gold color, but I do like the other color…
